About Us
Conservatory of Dance Plus Inc. (CODPI), is a family-oriented, warm and personable dance school located in the heart of downtown Toronto. The school has served the community for over 20 years.
CODPI has programs for all ages. The mission statement is to create a personable environment for the versatile dancer. We highly recommend that all our dancers take classical ballet in order to strengthen their dance technique, and be better prepared for auditions.
Our open door policy is a great opportunity for studio parents, guardians, family and friends to come observe the dance class as it takes place. Dedicated dancers have the opportunity to be selected to take part in the Master Class (our studio’s performance group) and do Pointe.
CODPI has staged many recitals, in-house shows and community events over the years. All our students have progressed through the rigorous Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examination program. With the opportunity to receive recognition from the world’s largest ballet examining body.
Our faculty values the importance of progression in dance technique. We have a “big sister” volunteering and assisting program. We believe that by helping others, our students learn more about themselves and acquire the responsibility and confidence to go on to leadership roles in the community.
